OUR MISSION
The Hess Collective generates original work that addresses issues of social and global urgency through heightened realism, cross-cultural collaboration and inter-disciplinary creation. Through embodied exploration, diverse artists uncover theatrical events that transcend language barriers. By diving into the inner landscape, the work releases psychic contents that lead to the immediacy of a shared transformative experience.
TRAINING
Workshop Intensives
Workshops provide an opportunity for theater artists to become versed in Hess’ unique approach to embodied performance. This hybrid technique engages ‘States of Being’ that explore who we are at any given moment and how that changes according to the activation of specific behavioral, physiological and psychological conditions of existence. By accessing these interconnected states of being, artists learn to experiment, enliven and enlarge their artistic palette.
